Sarscape

SARscape® is an end-to-end processing chain for spaceborne SAR and optical data developed by sarmap, partially with the support of Euroepan Space Agency (ESA). The unique feature of this software includes the possibility of performing the whole set of processing steps within a single program necessary to facilitate the production of a final product such as a digital map. In order to facilitate the processing and use of resulting data by end-users, SARscape®'s information are embedded into an Arcview® GIS environment. The development of SARscape® necessitated State-of-the-art algorithms that have been developed by sarmap's team members during their academic careers.

Moreover, based on this SARscape® environment, a series of specific applications for different applications have been developed and are currently commercialized. They include specific applications for cartography, DEM generation, agriculture, forestry, land cover monitoring, mobile telecommunication, and risk assessment and management, etc..

SARscape® includes two modules: the basic module and the InSAR DEM generator (to be used with the basic module). The prices of the two modules have been established in relation to their marketing potentials and the purchasing power of potential end-users.
