One of the most important tasks in sustainable natural resources management and environmental conservation is to bring these different partners together and support them in the exercise of their particular functions. This goal means that EEF's Associates are, in addition to their technical functions, generally involved in generating information, policy advice, saving and credit initiatives, networking, institution-building and education</FONT></div> <bR> <div> <FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Arial" ><B>EEF-Switzerland is currently associated to Sarmap s.a.</B></FONT>. Since 2001, Sarm<FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >ap s.a. and EEF-Switzerland have jointly been involved in the development of three integrated/multidisciplinary projects financed by proceeds from the European Space Agency (ESA) and occasional support from the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC). The immediate purpose of these three projects was to develop new integrated spaceborne applications to support the objectives of environmental conservation and sustainable development promoted by international environmental treaties.
